by: Richard Everett Posted: May 30, 2023 / 09:58 AM CDT Updated: May 30, 2023 / 10:04 AM CDT DOTHAN, Ala ( WDHN ) —Beginning on August 4, 2023, students throughout Dothan City Schools will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge. According to Dothan City Schools, the meals are being provided by Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a non-pricing meal service option for schools and districts with high-poverty populations. Implementing the Community Eligibility Provision in Dothan City Schools allows us to join the Hunger Free Alabama Coalition.
